Nando Leal scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cengizhan Baycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Conrado Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Alcântara came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Cactos's Conrado Capixaba. But to his dismay, Conrado Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Emerson Guedes scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Ademir Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 23rd minute, Ademir Rodrigues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 25 minutes into the game, Cengizhan Baycan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Augusto Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cengizhan Baycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Capixaba scored 0-7 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ademir Rodrigues took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Alcântara. Augusto Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. 46 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Guedes came free, but Augusto Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Alcântara came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Cactos's Nando Leal. But to his dismay, Nando Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-11.

In the 53rd minute, Emerson Guedes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. Augusto Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cengizhan Baycan went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute of the match, Emerson Guedes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augusto Alcântara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Augusto Alcântara was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Ademir Rodrigues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ademir Rodrigues really showed his touch with that goal: 0-15. Cactos's Dorival de Carvalho was substituted for Conrado Capixaba. Emerson Guedes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Alcântara came out and tried to block the shot, but Emerson Guedes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 70th minute. Augusto Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademir Rodrigues in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, José Vítor de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Cactos's Matias Gaitan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-17. 79 minutes into the match, Matias Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Alcântara. Alvinegro de Tupã's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-18. 84 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Augusto Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Gaitan. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Luisinho Maciel put it in 0-19 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Alcântara. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Maciel in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes of play, Cactos's Luisinho Maciel made it 0-20 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Matias Gaitan made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Alcântara. Alvinegro de Tupã's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-21. In the 98th minute, Cactos's Emerson Guedes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Augusto Alcântara. Augusto Alcântara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-22. The Alvinegro de Tupã fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cactos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
