If Santos Rallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AS Pikachuzim's attentive Emanuel Arruda managed to snatch the ball when Robert Arboleda made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Baggio came free, but Oliverio Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Fenton in the 29th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Ronaldinho Fenomeno made a precise shot to the right of Dalmo Tasso. ITAFUT 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Eric Ramires sped through ITAFUT 4EVER's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmo Tasso. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldinho Fenomeno to make the kick off. With a little luck, AS Pikachuzim's Oliverio Kahn got control of the ball when Jardel Baggio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Paul Møffelmand was slow to take the kick. During this time ITAFUT 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jean-Paul Møffelmand almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AS Pikachuzim's Oliverio Kahn did a great save. The AS Pikachuzim support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
