In the 4thth minute of the game Ramon Ovando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Mangala's Dionisio Llorienzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ramon Ovando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Llorienzo was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Dionisio Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Ovando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Nardi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danilo Bingen came out and tried to block the shot, but Nico Nardi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Dionisio Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Ovando in the 17th minute of the match. Dionisio Llorienzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Iratxo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 24 played minutes Atletico Mangala got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Eliazar. Dionisio Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Mangala's zone, Cesar Iratxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Llorienzo came out of the goal and Cesar Iratxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dionisio Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Ovando in the 33rd minute of the match. Cesar Iratxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Llorienzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Iratxo ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the game, Languiñeo FC's Ramon Ovando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dionisio Llorienzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, Ramon Ovando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Llorienzo. Atletico Mangala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Ovando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Gaizkine to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Steven during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Atletico Mangala got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Steven. Ramon Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dionisio Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Iratxo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Llorienzo saved Atletico Mangala from getting behind. Atletico Mangala's Dionisio Llorienzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Mangala from getting a goal against them. Dionisio Llorienzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Ovando in the 91st minute. Ismael Gervaso hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cesar Iratxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Languiñeo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Iratxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Languiñeo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atletico Mangala throughout the match.
