Teobaldo Egoi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alberto Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Wilfredo Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Erasto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Indartsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Txartiko to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Indartsu having to interfere. When Wilfredo Erasto came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Glorioso Vélez Sársfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Erasto couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Teobaldo Egoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Indartsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cucu FC's Nicanor Indartsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Erasto in the 88th minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cucu FC! The referee gave Glorioso Vélez Sársfield a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Delmar Elequemedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cucu FC's Nicanor Indartsu. 2-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Glorioso Vélez Sársfield were victorious despite being under pressure from Cucu FC for much of the match.
