Samuel Guillelmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Guter having to interfere. Angel Jorrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Chumo in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Bragado's Lino Rocio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Jorrin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Guillelmo to make the kick off. Octavio Guter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acebal. Joaquin Chumo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Jorrin having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Baldomero Mateo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de Bragado and the Acebal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Acebal booed when Estudiantes de Bragado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
