Octavio Guter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Cordario in the 15th minute of the match. Octavio Guter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isidoro Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Isidoro Manny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edgard Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Octavio Guter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Guter having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Isidoro Manny made a precise shot to the right of Octavio Guter. Estudiantes de Bragado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Rocio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Estudiantes de Bragado got a corner. Alter Ego's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelino Fliz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Isidoro Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Guter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Edgard Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alter Ego's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Cordario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Edgard Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Guter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Cordario struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Octavio Guter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alter Ego. After 72 minutes, Segundo Tonete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de Bragado and the Alter Ego players grew even worse after the yellow card. Segundo Tonete hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Israel Eder hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jairo Maties's shot from long distance in the 84th minute was not bad at all, but Estudiantes de Bragado's Octavio Guter knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de Bragado's zone, Edgard Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Guter came out of the goal and Edgard Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de Bragado's Segundo Tonete got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Edgard Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alter Ego's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Cordario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Guter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Estudiantes de Bragado's Octavio Guter got control of the ball when Isidoro Manny tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Joaquin Chumo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Betadur was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The Estudiantes de Bragado players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
