Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baldomero Cordaro got the match started through his kick off. Baldomero Cordaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Guter having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Chumo in the 8th minute of play forced Club Atlético Banfield's goalkeeper Juan Rayman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Lino Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de Bragado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Rocio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomero Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Octavio Guter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomero Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Baldomero Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Banfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Cordaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Guter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Banfield's goalkeeper Juan Rayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Banfield's zone, Lino Rocio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Rayman came out of the goal and Lino Rocio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Rocio in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Rayman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lino Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Chumo in the 37th minute of play forced Club Atlético Banfield's goalkeeper Juan Rayman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Havier got free with Octavio Guter in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st match minute, Estudiantes de Bragado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Octavio Guter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Joaquin Chumo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Rayman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Baldomero Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomero Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Guter having to interfere. After some careless play in the Estudiantes de Bragado defense, Baldomero Cordaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Guter. The Estudiantes de Bragado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Guter should have stopped the shot. Octavio Guter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Havier in the 63rd minute of play. Joaquin Chumo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Rayman having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Bragado's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Cordaro came free, but Octavio Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de Bragado's zone, Fabian Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Guter came out of the goal and Fabian Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Guter having to interfere.
