After having played for 7 minutes, Edgard Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alter Ego's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Cordario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Ubaldo Tipi got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Edgard Cordario came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Alter Ego fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Cordario couldn't finish the play. Edgard Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Juan Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Cordario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Abeita having to make a save. Edgard Cordario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Juan Abeita made a huge save. Edgard Cordario struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Juan Abeita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alter Ego. Cipriano Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute Edgard Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Cipriano Jax fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 62 minutes into the game, Edgard Cordario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Juan Abeita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Isidoro Manny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Abeita came out of the goal and Isidoro Manny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Laureano Gregory fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alter Ego's protests and gave Laureano Gregory a yellow card for diving instead. Laureano Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Alter Ego's Isidoro Manny got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Isidoro Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Abeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Juan Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Cordario in the 92nd minute of the match. Jairo Maties took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Abeita. Independiente's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alter Ego walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
