The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Celipe got free with Angel Jorrin in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celedonio Nevada hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Americo Olivar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and canarios AFC's Roberto Macario didn't even have to move. Acebal's Angel Jorrin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Acebal from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Acebal had won after a very even match.
