Julian Su's late challenge caught a Culampajao Quilmeño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Su helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Culampajao Quilmeño got a penalty, and Sergio Amato placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Joel Che made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Salbatore in the 13th minute of play. Joel Che didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Salbatore went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Culampajao Quilmeño getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bernardino Acevedo hit a great ball. Joel Che took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido James in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Culampajao Quilmeño's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Abeita came free, but Joel Che reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Lauaxeta made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sergio Amato sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Culampajao Quilmeño's Primitivo Toribio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 36 minutes, Anselmo Urbez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taco AFC and the Culampajao Quilmeño players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Mendiko took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Che. Joel Che dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Culampajao Quilmeño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Abeita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melchor Boniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Lauaxeta having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Candido James had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartolo Lauaxeta. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximino Mendiko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Che. That made the score 4-4 in the 65 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Taco AFC's Anselmo Urbez got a free kick in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Abeita got free with Joel Che in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Che made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Mendiko in the 78th minute of play. Sergio Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Culampajao Quilmeño's zone, Aquilino Abeita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Che came out of the goal and Aquilino Abeita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Abeita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Joel Che made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Sergio Amato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Lauaxeta was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Primitivo Toribio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Mendiko in the 95th minute of play forced Culampajao Quilmeño's goalkeeper Joel Che to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
