In the 21st minute, Isidro Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Robles got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Arotza. In the 25th match minute, Robles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Arotza to maneuver through the defense. la12's Ceferino Gartzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bocho Cabezuela in the 27th minute of play. Sandalio Top could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ceferino Gartzi made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in la12's zone, Sandalio Top stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Gartzi came out of the goal and Sandalio Top tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for la12. Damaso Bautista stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomás Timo. 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Esteve Bero in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Robles's Isidro Arotza. Sandalio Top blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ceferino Gartzi having to make a save. Sandalio Top received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ceferino Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Medina to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Robles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philibert Celton to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing la12 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
