The la12 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Gartzi should have stopped the shot. After 28 played minutes Faro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Berdaitz. When Elvio Medina came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the la12 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Medina couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes la12 got a freekick which was hit by Santo Guerrero. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elvio Medina made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lino Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot. la12's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Montae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Sotero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, la12's goalkeeper Ceferino Gartzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Erdiano. Ceferino Gartzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Erdiano in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Faro AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
