When Jimeno Diegotxe came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ambargasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Diegotxe couldn't finish the play. Rüsselkäfer F.C's Romeo Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Rüsselkäfer F.C from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Ambargasta's Jacobo Fonticoba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Tino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Wilian Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Charlie Sundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Fonticoba made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilian Breckenfeld got free with Charlie Sundin in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Diegotxe in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Tino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Diegotxe in the 62nd minute of play forced Rüsselkäfer F.C's goalkeeper Romeo Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Diegotxe in the 62nd minute of play. Rogelio Tauro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeo Tino. Rüsselkäfer F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristides Tauro in the 76th minute. Despite this Charlie Sundin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 81 minutes into the game, Wilian Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Charlie Sundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rüsselkäfer F.C's Cecilio Rey shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Charlie Sundin but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Rüsselkäfer F.C's zone, Jacobo Fonticoba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Tino came out of the goal and Jacobo Fonticoba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
