Jimeno Diegotxe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Adrian Sotero made a huge save. 5 minutes into the match, Jacobo Fonticoba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adrian Sotero, 1-0. In the 9th minute Jacobo Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Rolando Medero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimeno Diegotxe might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Sotero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimeno Diegotxe ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Fonticoba in the 15th minute of play forced Faro AFC's goalkeeper Adrian Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Loiola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrian Sotero came out and tried to block the shot, but Aquilino Loiola slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. Ambargasta's Jacobo Fonticoba got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Sotero was a little too slow when Aquilino Loiola got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. With a little luck, Faro AFC's Adrian Sotero got control of the ball when Jimeno Diegotxe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Medero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charlie Sundin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Benjamin Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 51st minute Jacobo Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambargasta were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Faro AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimeno Diegotxe took the corner. Jimeno Diegotxe scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Sotero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Faro AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jimeno Diegotxe was slow to take the kick. During this time Ambargasta's players had a chance to rest. Aquilino Loiola took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Sotero. Adrian Sotero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 71st minute, Aquilino Loiola made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Sotero. Faro AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. When Jacobo Fonticoba came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ambargasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Fonticoba couldn't finish the play. Adrian Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Loiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Adrian Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Diegotxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jimeno Diegotxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Fonticoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Sotero having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Faro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Loiola came free, but Adrian Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Fonticoba in the 89th minute of the match. Zeledon Erdiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Charlie Sundin made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Ambargasta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
