After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rolando Cilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ambargasta's Jacobo Fonticoba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anacleto Lizbeth. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. During the 59th minute of the match Benicio Orlanda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benicio Orlanda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 61st minute, Jimeno Diegotxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ambargasta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Bonnement's zone, Jacobo Fonticoba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Lizbeth came out of the goal and Jacobo Fonticoba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ambargasta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
