After 9 minutes of play, Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Portillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arrecifes's Raul Vigil managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Caitano in the 22 minute of the game. Tudor Hurezeanu made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dobromir Prokowski. In the 25th minute, Cirilo Ritchie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Portillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Saturnino Romo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Bernal. Valentin Bernal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Valentin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Romo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Saturnino Romo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Bernal. Arrecifes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Romo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Cirilo Ritchie might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Portillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Ritchie ran back to his position shaking his head. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ from getting a goal against them. Cirilo Ritchie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Silvano Portillo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Tobias Xacintu got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Romo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 67 minutes, Cirilo Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Felipe Senon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Portillo was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After 93 minutes, Felipe Senon made it 5-3 with a short kick to the right side. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arrecifes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
