Spectators: 9266 (Terracing: 6951, Seating: 2131, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cirilo Ritchie kicked off to start the match. Carabata Groove's Angelo Vargas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raul Vigil in the 7 minute of the game. Cirilo Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 8th minute Cirilo Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güney Mengüalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hauk Hareide's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Cristobal Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin De Bruyne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes Carabata Groove's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modesto Gipuzkoa who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hauk Hareide in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güney Mengüalp saved Arrecifes from getting behind. If Cirilo Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristobal Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Ritchie in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jesus Isauro hit a great ball. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Ritchie in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes Carabata Groove's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modesto Gipuzkoa who took care of the corner kick. Alvaro Florian tried in the 35th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Cristobal Goito a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's Hermengildo Bazkoare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Güney Mengüalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Cirilo Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Ritchie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Hauk Hareide came free, but Güney Mengüalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carabata Groove's 彭榕翔 was substituted for Hauk Hareide. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olgierd Gerlach to make the kick off. Arrecifes's Güney Mengüalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Arrecifes from getting a goal against them. Güney Mengüalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 彭榕翔 in the 58th minute of play. Cirilo Ritchie might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Goito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Ritchie ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With an all-out effort, Carabata Groove's Güney Mengüalp threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olgierd Gerlach, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arrecifes made a substitution. Rodolfo Chumo replaced Waldemar Korytkowski. Arrecifes made a substitution. Enrique Gaur replaced Hipolito Laurendi. Arrecifes's Felipe Senon was substituted for Cirilo Ritchie. Carabata Groove's Olgierd Gerlach was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Güney Mengüalp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arrecifes were furious when Pablo Raymond was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 68 minutes into the game, Grigore Crăciunaș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Güney Mengüalp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Enrique Gaur hit a great ball. 彭榕翔 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Güney Mengüalp made a huge save. Jeremias Quiroga made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Arrecifes's Kevin De Bruyne. Güney Mengüalp made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when 彭榕翔 sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Gerlach got free with Güney Mengüalp in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Senon in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Goito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modesto Gipuzkoa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Arrecifes's Modesto Gipuzkoa to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristobal Goito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
