In the 15th minute of the match Sinan Kisačević sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ðurđe Brajović skillfully saved the ball. Ðurđe Brajović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prodan Tomić in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Antonije Kopitović made a precise shot to the right of Ðurđe Brajović. Žabalj OFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 21 minutes into the game, Stragari's Antonije Kopitović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Žabalj OFK's Predrag Ratković slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Svetozar Zagorac. That made the score 4-1 after 76 minutes of play. Žabalj OFK's Ðurđe Brajović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prodan Tomić in the 83rd minute of play. Prodan Tomić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ðurđe Brajović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stragari's Prodan Tomić got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
