Spectators: 8093 (Terracing: 6071, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 161) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Llwyr Bruce made the kick off which started today's match. If Calder Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Llwyr Bruce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Owls III's Llwyr Bruce was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Angawdd Haymonger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Myrddin Keatinge in the 19th minute. Evrei Muleskinner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calder Jacob, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maesteg FC's zone, Llwyr Bruce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angawdd Haymonger came out of the goal and Llwyr Bruce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Owls III booed when Maesteg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerallt Donoghue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calder Jacob blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evrei Muleskinner having to make a save. After having played for 30 minutes, Aberthol Boucher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maesteg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aberthol Boucher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Owls III's goal looked a bit too open when Calder Jacob came free, but Evrei Muleskinner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maesteg FC's Aberthol Boucher got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evrei Muleskinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calder Jacob in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Maesteg FC's goalkeeper Angawdd Haymonger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Myrddin Keatinge. In the 42nd minute, Wren Dancy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Maesteg FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tristan Webster hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Angawdd Haymonger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myrddin Keatinge in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Owls III's goal looked a bit too open when Aberthol Boucher came free, but Evrei Muleskinner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Llwyr Bruce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angawdd Haymonger was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Owls III's goal looked a bit too open when Aberthol Boucher came free, but Evrei Muleskinner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Owls III getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Druce Lynch hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Maesteg FC's Gerallt Donoghue tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Maesteg FC's Aberthol Boucher dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 91 minutes into the match, Maesteg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Llwyr Bruce came free, but Angawdd Haymonger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Myrddin Keatinge took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angawdd Haymonger. Angawdd Haymonger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
