Spectators: 8056 (Terracing: 6043, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dangarous Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Gordon Newtown the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Dangarous Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul McDonleavy to maneuver through the defense. FC Gordon Newtown's Aaron McSwen came free and shot a quick shot against goal 5 minutes in the game, fortunately Mike McLagan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Aaron McSwen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Mike McLagan made a huge save. Archie Wass came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Dangarous Devils's Vincent McGilchrist. But to his dismay, Vincent McGilchrist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Archie Wass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy McCaskill, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Aaron McSwen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Mike McLagan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Dangarous Devils's Billy McCaskill got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Aaron McSwen could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Mike McLagan however easily saved by the left post. Angus Bayne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike McLagan having to interfere. Billy McCaskill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Wass having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dangarous Devils's Paul McDonleavy got a free kick in the 34th minute. With his leg Mike McLagan managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when FC Gordon Newtown's Aaron McSwen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Archie Wass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billy McCaskill's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Vincent McGilchrist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Archie Wass was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The FC Gordon Newtown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dangarous Devils were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angus Bayne was the one to do the kick off. Mike McLagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angus Bayne in the 56th minute of play. Dangarous Devils's Mike McLagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron McSwen in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron McSwen in the 65th minute of play forced Dangarous Devils's goalkeeper Mike McLagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ronald Addison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron McSwen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mike McLagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mike McLagan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron McSwen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dangarous Devils eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
