Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) Aaden Cooney started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Aaden Cooney made a precise shot to the right of Bar McLian. Sneem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sneem's zone, Finbar McNamara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bar McLian came out of the goal and Finbar McNamara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Sneem's goalkeeper Bar McLian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaden Cooney. After 15 played minutes Sneem got a freekick which was hit by Séamus Delaney. Baird McJohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donlevy McCollion in the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sneem's zone, Aaden Cooney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bar McLian came out of the goal and Aaden Cooney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Finbar McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bar McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donlevy McCollion in the 26th minute of play forced Raferagh's goalkeeper Baird McJohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raferagh's Aaden Cooney came free and shot a quick shot against goal 29 minutes in the game, fortunately Bar McLian had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Baird McJohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donlevy McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Finbar McNamara struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Bar McLian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raferagh. After having played for 36 minutes, Aaden Cooney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raferagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaden Cooney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raferagh's Aaden Cooney got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Sneem got a freekick which was hit by Gill McNamara. The attack was good, but when Aaden Cooney in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bar McLian made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Earnán Gillmour sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Finbar McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raferagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Finbar McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bar McLian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bar McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fergal Martyn in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rollin McPhil made the kick off in the second half. Aaden Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dane Bayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rollin McPhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baird McJohn having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaden Cooney in the 64th minute of play forced Sneem's goalkeeper Bar McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Sneem defense, Fergal Martyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bar McLian. The Sneem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bar McLian should have stopped the shot. In the 78th match minute, Raferagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earnán Gillmour to maneuver through the defense. Raferagh's Baird McJohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rollin McPhil in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Raferagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finbar McNamara to maneuver through the defense. Baird McJohn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rollin McPhil went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaden Cooney in the 91st minute of play forced Sneem's goalkeeper Bar McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sneem's Bar McLian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaden Cooney in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Dane Bayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finbar McNamara struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Bar McLian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raferagh.
