Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Conn McStephen made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Drink Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bell Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Bil Molloy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casey McJohn. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Casey McJohn made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Donlevy McCollion sent off a good shot on target. Bar McLian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bodibeua Caffrey went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the game, Felim Tracy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drink Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sneem the free kick. In the 21st minute, one of Drink Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Drink Team. If Rollin McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bodibeua Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bar McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donlevy McCollion let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 36th minute shot 4-1 at rihgt post. Bodibeua Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bodibeua Caffrey took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bar McLian. Bar McLian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2.

The wind increased when Rollin McPhil made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match Séamus Delaney shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casey McJohn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Rollin McPhil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey McJohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sneem getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Donlevy McCollion hit a great ball. Conn McStephen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bar McLian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Rollin McPhil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Casey McJohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Donlevy McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey McJohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Barhart Dunne fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drink Team's protests and gave Barhart Dunne a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Barhart Dunne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Drink Team's goal looked a bit too open when Donlevy McCollion came free, but Casey McJohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Donlevy McCollion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sneem booed when Drink Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breandan Savic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breandan Savic charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breandan Savic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bodibeua Caffrey took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bar McLian. Bar McLian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Drink Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
