Courthoyle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Finnigan McJon scored to the left of an out of position Quinton Lavine, making the score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Courthoyle's goalkeeper Quinton Lavine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Deans. Roland McNamara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quinton Lavine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Roland McNamara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Lavine having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Donahue McBrandon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Courthoyle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave glory fc the free kick. Bow McPaul kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Deans during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, glory fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Deans to maneuver through the defense. Quinton Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finnigan McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Finnigan McJon made the kick off in the second half. Quinton Lavine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finnigan McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bow McPaul fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Courthoyle's protests and gave Bow McPaul a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Bow McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finnigan McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Lavine having to interfere. Bow McPaul hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Roordan Doherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland McNamara in the 78th minute of play forced Courthoyle's goalkeeper Quinton Lavine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Finnigan McJon took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinton Lavine. Quinton Lavine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 85th minute, Roordan Doherty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quinton Lavine was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 90 minutes into the match, Finnigan McJon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quinton Lavine. Courthoyle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Finnigan McJon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Roordan Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Lavine having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. glory fc had played much better football throughout.
