Kenny Lawson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doug Leather in the 4th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Ivor Bell could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Kenny Lawson however easily saved by the left post. Kenny Lawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doug Leather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bhatti Slappers F.C's zone, Ben Pyrah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guy Barnfield came out of the goal and Ben Pyrah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guy Barnfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Pyrah in the 24th minute of play. Lunatic Leeds's Kenny Lawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug Leather in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doug Leather stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Doug Leather made a precise shot to the right of Kenny Lawson. Lunatic Leeds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 55th minute Gav Cornish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Barnfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lunatic Leeds's Kenny Lawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug Leather in the 62nd minute of play. A hard shot 66 in the game by Ben Pyrah from a close distance when the talented Guy Barnfield managed to make a qualified save. Bhatti Slappers F.C's players were relieved. In the 70th minute, Lunatic Leeds's Dominic Stone dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 75th minute Doug Leather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Lawson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guy Barnfield made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ben Pyrah sent off a good shot on target. If Doug Leather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Lunatic Leeds's Ben Pyrah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guy Barnfield made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Oscar Evans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the game, Doug Leather cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Kenny Lawson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lunatic Leeds players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bhatti Slappers F.C.
