After having played for 17 minutes, Dom Halliday managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 37 played minutes Knights of the Spring got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Hewitt. Grant Couzens struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Russ Webster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus. When Edward Biernat fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knights of the Spring's protests and gave Edward Biernat a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bryan Short's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Russ Webster read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Knights of the Spring's Russ Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Short in the 89th minute of play. Dom Halliday hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Grant Couzens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Juventus booed when Knights of the Spring was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micheal Goodman didn't get a good kick on the ball.
