When Andy Gilchrist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the IceTigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Gilchrist couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Kristian Hickson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IceTigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East Leakers the free kick. Richard Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Derek Maskell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IceTigers and the East Leakers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, IceTigers's Derek Maskell got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, IceTigers's Andy Gilchrist got a free kick in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Grant Haskell notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of East Leakers's Conal Lewington. Conal Lewington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. East Leakers's Conal Lewington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save East Leakers from getting a goal against them. Andy Gilchrist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conal Lewington having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, IceTigers's goal looked a bit too open when Olly Morley came free, but Teddy Sparks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, IceTigers's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Thompson came free, but Teddy Sparks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Rush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Conal Lewington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in East Leakers's zone, Charlie Rush stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conal Lewington came out of the goal and Charlie Rush tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Aaron Beswetherick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Leakers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IceTigers the free kick. After 46 played minutes East Leakers got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Beswetherick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matt Durrant was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Aaron Beswetherick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joshua Newland's late challenge caught a IceTigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joshua Newland helped the player get up and apologised. Matt Durrant shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 55 minutes of play, IceTigers's Andy Gilchrist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conal Lewington was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teddy Sparks came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by East Leakers's Richard Thompson. But to his dismay, Richard Thompson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Matt Durrant hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. East Leakers's Olly Morley got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teddy Sparks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Thompson in the 65th minute. Conal Lewington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grant Haskell, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Conal Lewington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matt Durrant in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Charlie Rush managed to get in a good position for a shot. IceTigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlie Rush was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conal Lewington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conal Lewington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Gilchrist in the 75th minute of play. Matt Durrant scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conal Lewington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Richard Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Teddy Sparks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to IceTigers getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Pete Jones hit a great ball. Marek Joynes kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. IceTigers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of East Leakers for a fine match.
