Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Vern Southgate started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the game, Josh Wilmott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Russ Webster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Dom Halliday reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niall Beasley. The goal made the score 1-1. The supporters of Czeladzianie booed when Knights of the Spring was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trev Illingworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Bruce Long sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Knights of the Spring's Russ Webster didn't even have to move. Vern Southgate scored 1-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Russ Webster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Russ Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vern Southgate in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Vern Southgate left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Czeladzianie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Czeladzianie's Bruce Long got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes of play, Knights of the Spring's Micheal Goodman made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niall Beasley was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Knights of the Spring's zone, Frazer Clayton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russ Webster came out of the goal and Frazer Clayton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Russ Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Browne in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Czeladzianie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josh Wilmott to maneuver through the defense. Bruce Long hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Czeladzianie's zone, Jon Barnett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niall Beasley came out of the goal and Jon Barnett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Czeladzianie's goalkeeper Niall Beasley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micheal Goodman. Niall Beasley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dom Halliday in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Czeladzianie were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dom Halliday to make the kick off. Russ Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vern Southgate in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Anthony Reid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niall Beasley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Vern Southgate recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Russ Webster. Vern Southgate showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. 59 minutes into the match, Czeladzianie's Vern Southgate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Russ Webster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Czeladzianie's Vern Southgate ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Russ Webster. Russ Webster yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. After a rather tough play, Knights of the Spring's Micheal Goodman got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Czeladzianie were furious when Shawn Greenwood was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 66th minute, one of Czeladzianie:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Czeladzianie. The referee gave Knights of the Spring a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jon Barnett, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Czeladzianie's Niall Beasley. 3-5. Niall Beasley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Halliday in the 76th minute of play. Niall Beasley came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Knights of the Spring's Dom Halliday. But to his dismay, Dom Halliday quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. Edward Biernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Browne during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Fred Browne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Czeladzianie's Josh Wilmott suffered a concussion in the 90th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Graham Osbon charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Graham Osbon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Knights of the Spring got a freekick which was hit by Graham Osbon. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Bruce Long managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czeladzianie's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruce Long was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Russ Webster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Micheal Goodman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niall Beasley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Czeladzianie had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
