Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Veno Strasner took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to NŠ MURA getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dragomer Bogomolec hit a great ball. Mehmedalija Bukovec might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boris Schottler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmedalija Bukovec ran back to his position shaking his head. Cvetan Kobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cvetko Grgurič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Šerif Žuža was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nazarje FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NŠ MURA the free kick. A collision led to Nazarje FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Šerif Žuža hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Mehmedalija Bukovec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Nazarje FC booed when NŠ MURA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veno Strasner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cvetan Kobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veno Strasner in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Taj Okršlar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NŠ MURA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taj Okršlar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Živko Pantar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NŠ MURA's Cvetko Grgurič got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cvetan Kobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veno Strasner in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Sladjan Špindler made the kick off in the second half. Boris Schottler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sladjan Špindler in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Nazarje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cvetko Grgurič came free, but Cvetan Kobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cvetko Grgurič did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Cvetan Kobal 54 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Cvetko Grgurič took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Cvetan Kobal to make any attempt to save it. NŠ MURA's Boris Schottler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmedalija Bukovec in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, NŠ MURA's Cvetko Grgurič made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cvetan Kobal was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Taj Okršlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veno Strasner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Cvetan Kobal made a huge save. The supporters of Nazarje FC booed when NŠ MURA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Živko Pantar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nazarje FC's zone, Taj Okršlar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cvetan Kobal came out of the goal and Taj Okršlar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veno Strasner in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cvetan Kobal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Taj Okršlar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cvetan Kobal having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Veno Strasner put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Cvetan Kobal. When the match was over NŠ MURA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nazarje FC throughout the match.
