Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ivan Alebäck took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mattias Boström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Boström in the 8th minute of play forced Stensele IF's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Fred Österberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Johnsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stensele IF's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Hermansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Stensele IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Boström came free, but Bo-Erik Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Johnsson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Busk got free with Emil Johnsson in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Stensele IF's zone, Mattias Boström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo-Erik Hermansson came out of the goal and Mattias Boström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Köpingsvik FK's goalkeeper Emil Johnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Busk. In the 32nd minute, Magne Öman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattias Boström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Hermansson having to interfere. If Magne Öman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Mattias Boström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stensele IF's Bo-Erik Hermansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Magne Öman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Köpingsvik FK's Mattias Boström got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bo-Erik Hermansson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Köpingsvik FK's Magne Öman. But to his dismay, Magne Öman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The wind increased when Magne Öman made the kick off in the second half. Magne Öman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bo-Erik Hermansson having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Hääger during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, one of Stensele IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stensele IF. The goalkeeper, Bo-Erik Hermansson, was totally fooled by Köpingsvik FK's Fred Unesson, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Mattias Boström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köpingsvik FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Boström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magne Öman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mattias Boström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute of the match, Mattias Boström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bo-Erik Hermansson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bo-Erik Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Öman in the 80th minute of play. Boris Zachrisson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mattias Boström in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bo-Erik Hermansson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Mattias Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
