Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) MAD DOGS's Björn Asserlindh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Björn Asserlindh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Westerstrand having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Hjärnarp's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Asserlindh came free, but Gottfrid Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hjärnarp's Harry Tomasson got a free kick in the 11th minute. Markus Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Wikander having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Markus Kleen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAD DOGS's Tommy Wikander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to MAD DOGS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ulf Arenberg hit a great ball. Hjärnarp's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Björn Asserlindh 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Tommy Wikander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The attack was good, but when Stig Jönsätt in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Björn Asserlindh was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. MAD DOGS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gottfrid Westerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Asserlindh in the 39th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Arne Stenqvist struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Gottfrid Westerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAD DOGS. 56 minutes into the match, Hjärnarp's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Asserlindh came free, but Gottfrid Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Asserlindh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gottfrid Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Hjärnarp got a freekick which was hit by George Hjeltman. After a rather tough play, MAD DOGS's Peter Hamberg got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Markus Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MAD DOGS had won after a very even match.
