Spectators: 7116 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isak Nässén started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Lustig got free with Martien Dowie in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Norsborg's Morgan Lindgren got a free kick in the 5th minute. Karl-Magnus Snell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Ström in the 6th minute of the match. Ivan Markusson came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Martien Dowie could save by the left post. After 12 played minutes Norsborg got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Lindgren. Karl-Magnus Snell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Qvarnström's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Ludwig Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Qvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Torsten Hjeltman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Magnus Snell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Douglas Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Torsten Hjeltman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Magnus Snell. Norsborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Hjeltman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bankeryd's Douglas Qvarnström got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludwig Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Magnus Snell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Karlsson in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Bankeryd's Douglas Qvarnström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Magnus Snell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 44th minute, Simon Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Magnus Snell came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Bankeryd's Torsten Hjeltman. But to his dismay, Torsten Hjeltman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Karl-Magnus Snell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Qvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Josef Sundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Torsten Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bankeryd's Douglas Qvarnström in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norsborg's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Karlsson in the 63rd minute of play forced Norsborg's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Snell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Hjeltman had several of the Norsborg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Karl-Magnus Snell as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Qvarnström in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Magnus Snell saved Norsborg from getting behind. Martien Dowie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Alegren in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Nässén in the 76th minute of play forced Bankeryd's goalkeeper Martien Dowie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camillo Santovito hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Karl-Magnus Snell was a little too slow when Simon Karlsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-6. Jan Caspersson's late challenge caught a Bankeryd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Caspersson helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Norsborg got a freekick which was hit by Jan Caspersson. Simon Karlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Magnus Snell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Douglas Qvarnström in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Magnus Snell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 90th minute, Simon Karlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bankeryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Douglas Qvarnström had several of the Norsborg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Karl-Magnus Snell as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match was over Bankeryd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Norsborg throughout the match.
