The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Wickander got free with Mattias Berglund in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Kvick took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Berglund. Mattias Berglund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Jönsson in the 15th minute of play forced Aspabruk's goalkeeper Kasper Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasper Helström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christian Tingelholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Rottneros got a freekick which was hit by Erik Haegg. When Erik Haegg fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rottneros's protests and gave Erik Haegg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rottneros getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Erik Haegg hit a great ball. Viktor Nordstedt hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Örjan Rang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasper Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Haegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Kasper Helström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sivert Nordlander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Sivert Nordlander made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Kasper Helström managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Rottneros's Morgan Dahlberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 81 minutes into the match, Aspabruk's goal looked a bit too open when Sivert Nordlander came free, but Kasper Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Ove Wickander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Berglund. Rottneros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Wickander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Frank Vedholm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kasper Helström. Aspabruk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
