Rolf Palm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Simon Eliasson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 32nd playminute. In the 35th minute, Gösta Dalkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Holmgren in the 41st minute of play forced Hortlax SK's goalkeeper Rolf Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Simon Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 55 played minutes Hortlax SK got a freekick which was hit by Joel Thidén. If Simon Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. If Philip Olsmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Erik Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Olsmann in the 85th minute of play. Alexander Östman hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Malcolm Ånger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
