Christian Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olof Påk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Bjälklaget's Jens-Åke Ekblom in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kil's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute, Folke Billvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Kil's zone, Christian Jakobsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Pihlblad came out of the goal and Christian Jakobsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viktor Pihlblad came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bjälklaget's Jens-Åke Ekblom. But to his dismay, Jens-Åke Ekblom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kil's Viktor Pihlblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Ekblom in the 24th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, FC Bjälklaget's Christian Jakobsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Pihlblad was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 32 minutes, Stig-Arne Thorsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bjälklaget's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Arne Thorsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olof Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Viktor Pihlblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christian Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the FC Bjälklaget fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. After 39 minutes of play, FC Bjälklaget's Christian Jakobsson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. FC Bjälklaget's Olof Påk got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
In the 53rd minute, William Söderberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Viktor Pihlblad was a little too slow when Jens-Åke Ekblom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-4. Villiam Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, FC Bjälklaget's goal looked a bit too open when William Söderberg came free, but Villiam Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Åke Ekblom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Viktor Pihlblad made a huge save. Folke Billvall hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Viktor Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Påk in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Mats Vallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Åke Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Pihlblad having to interfere. Stig-Arne Thorsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Viktor Pihlblad made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Söderberg in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Bjälklaget's goalkeeper Villiam Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Christian Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 94th minute, Christian Jakobsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Jakobsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Pihlblad having to make a save. FC Bjälklaget played a much better game than Kil and deserved their victory. The Kil players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
