If Jens-Erik Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olov Bäckström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Viktor Pihlblad made a huge save. Marcus Westerstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Folke Billvall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hallstavik FF the free kick. A collision led to Hallstavik FF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Olov Bäckström hit a great ball. William Söderberg took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristoffer Rolandsson. Kristoffer Rolandsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Folke Billvall was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Folke Billvall kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Olov Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calle Bergman's late challenge caught a Hallstavik FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calle Bergman helped the player get up and apologised. Calle Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Klas Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Viktor Pihlblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Erik Ivarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Rolandsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. William Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Kristoffer Rolandsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kil. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, William Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kil's supporters rose to their feet, but William Söderberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristoffer Rolandsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klas Benet made a kick off. Jens-Erik Ivarsson in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kristoffer Rolandsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hallstavik FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Jens-Erik Ivarsson scored to the left of an out of position Kristoffer Rolandsson, making the score, 0-2. In the 69th minute, William Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mats Vallgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Kristoffer Rolandsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olov Bäckström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Viktor Pihlblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Jens-Erik Ivarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristoffer Rolandsson came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Kil's Jens-Erik Ivarsson. But to his dismay, Jens-Erik Ivarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 85 minutes, Jens-Erik Ivarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Erik Ivarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th match minute, Kil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Vallgren to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Erik Ivarsson got free with Kristoffer Rolandsson in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jens-Erik Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Vennerlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kil played a much better game than Hallstavik FF and deserved their victory. The Hallstavik FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
