In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Råda's goalkeeper Torbjörn Arenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. John Beckman hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Rickard Dalgren charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rickard Dalgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Busby Babes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Råda the free kick. In the 24th minute, Råda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olof Kullander fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Olof Kullander notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Råda's Torbjörn Arenberg. Torbjörn Arenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Råda fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Råda's Hans Vallgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Busby Babes getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ernst Rudberg hit a great ball. When Hans Vallgren came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Råda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Vallgren couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Erland Ahlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Busby Babes's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Ahlgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Arenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 52nd minute, Ivar Nilsson made a precise shot to the right of Torbjörn Arenberg. Råda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Torbjörn Arenberg came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Busby Babes's Erland Ahlgren. But to his dismay, Erland Ahlgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 63 minutes into the game, Busby Babes's Olof Kullander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torbjörn Arenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a rather tough play, Busby Babes's Olof Kullander got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Råda getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ulrik Drewitz hit a great ball. Råda's Torbjörn Arenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Kullander in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Råda's Ulrik Drewitz got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Olof Kullander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Busby Babes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 77th minute Erland Ahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Arenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torbjörn Arenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Ahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torbjörn Arenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Kullander in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Råda's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Kullander came free, but Torbjörn Arenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Busby Babes's Ivar Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torbjörn Arenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 7-1 became the score in the 95th minute when Olof Kullander elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Busby Babes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
