Spectators: 6756 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jack Brogren started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Frölundaboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Zachrisson to maneuver through the defense. When Jack Brogren fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frölundaboys's protests and gave Jack Brogren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Frölundaboys getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jack Brogren hit a great ball. If Roger Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute of the game Jan-Olof Tolsson made a throw-in which Sven-Oskar Nyström played forward. Abelardo Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Mellbad in the 14th minute of play. Gustav Åkerberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Samuel Blom struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Kjell Nyberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frölundaboys. In the 24th minute, Roger Sundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Patrick Bremming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Sarrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Frölundaboys's zone, Patrick Bremming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Sarrate came out of the goal and Patrick Bremming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 played minutes Frölundaboys got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Nilsson. Abelardo Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Oskar Nyström in the 36th minute of the match. The Sikfors SK fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Sikfors SK's Marcus Mellbad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Abelardo Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Mellbad in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Marcus Mellbad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abelardo Sarrate was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcus Mellbad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. In the 56th minute, Lars Bolander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Mellbad might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Sarrate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Mellbad ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 played minutes Frölundaboys got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Nilsson. 72 minutes into the game, Frölundaboys's Stig-Ove Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Nyberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Frölundaboys getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Stig-Ove Nilsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Frölundaboys's Jonny Björklund got a free kick in the 77th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Sven-Oskar Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sikfors SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Oskar Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Sikfors SK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Nilsson came free, but Kjell Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Sarrate having to make a save. Frölundaboys's Abelardo Sarrate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Frölundaboys from getting a goal against them. Abelardo Sarrate was a little too slow when Patrick Bremming got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 93rd minute, Jan-Olof Tolsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Jack Brogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Sikfors SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Frölundaboys.
