Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Tanumshede FF's Joakim Forssberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jim Bäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mattias Caspersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Emanuel Ekström hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Mattias Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Axelsson made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Håkan Lindgren. Joakim Forssberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robin Arvidsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Joakim Forssberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Robin Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Forssberg in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Lila Hästen's Morgan Askberg got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th match minute, Tanumshede FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Hök to maneuver through the defense. Robin Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lila Hästen's zone, Joakim Forssberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Arvidsson came out of the goal and Joakim Forssberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingmar Melin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 36th playminute. After 42 played minutes FC Lila Hästen got a freekick which was hit by Bror Vikström. Robin Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Joakim Forssberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanumshede FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joakim Forssberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sonny Jönsson to make the kick off. When Jim Bäck came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Lila Hästen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Bäck couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Sonny Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Caspersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jim Bäck's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Tanumshede FF's Thomas Stenqvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. The throw-in from Alexander Axelsson in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Lila Hästen's Kasper Asserlind. Mattias Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Jönsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Robin Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Forssberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes FC Lila Hästen got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ekström. Tanumshede FF's Ingmar Melin got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the game Alexander Axelsson made a throw-in which Thomas Stenqvist played forward. Marcos Arotza's late challenge caught a Tanumshede FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Arotza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Lila Hästen's Marcos Arotza got a free kick in the 90th minute. Robin Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Forssberg in the 94th minute of play. Emanuel Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Joakim Forssberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Arvidsson. FC Lila Hästen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joakim Forssberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Tanumshede FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
