Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Klas Glanselius started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Kiruna's zone, Max Lindell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Ekenberg came out of the goal and Max Lindell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Ekenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Lindell in the 12th minute of the match. Våxtorp's Jan-Ove Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Glanselius in the 13th minute of play. When Våxtorp's Max Lindell in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kiruna's goalie prevented a goal. Mikael Ekenberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orvar Thorsberg went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Max Lindell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Petersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Ekenberg having to make a save. A collision led to Kiruna getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oskar Mårtensson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Lindell in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Ekenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Kiruna getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Oskar Mårtensson hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Våxtorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Thorsberg to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Häll made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Leo Lindström sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Kiruna's Leo Lindström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Ove Häll. That made the score 1-1 after 42 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Leo Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiruna's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Lindström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Häll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Adam Petersson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 55th minute, Ingmar Nord ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Ove Häll was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Fredrik Haglund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Våxtorp's Fredrik Haglund got a free kick in the 59th minute. Kiruna's Tommy Frisck couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Våxtorp. In the 65th minute Ingmar Nord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Lindell, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 69th minute Våxtorp were awarded a corner. Max Lindell went to the cornerflag to take it. Våxtorp's Max Lindell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikael Ekenberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adam Petersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikael Ekenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When Kristoffer Apelkvist came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Våxtorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristoffer Apelkvist couldn't finish the play. Jan-Ove Häll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Kiruna's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Petersson came free, but Mikael Ekenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kiruna's zone, Kristoffer Apelkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Ekenberg came out of the goal and Kristoffer Apelkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Kiruna's Mikael Ekenberg got control of the ball when Adam Petersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Edward Kvick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Ekenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tommy Frisck fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiruna's protests and gave Tommy Frisck a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the game, one of Kiruna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Våxtorp played a much better game than Kiruna and deserved their victory. The Kiruna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
