The BK Skjutet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Leif Arvidsson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, BK Skjutet's Bengt-Arne Tidén got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Sonny Johnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Svante Josefsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Brian Flinck made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Björn Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. When Björn Isaksson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vännäs BK's protests and gave Björn Isaksson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vännäs BK's Björn Isaksson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bengt-Arne Tidén kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Stefan Jakobsson put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Svante Josefsson. Philip Arenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Svante Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philip Arenberg in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svante Josefsson saved Vännäs BK from getting behind. After having played for 33 minutes, Sonny Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Skjutet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes BK Skjutet got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Tidén. After 35 played minutes, Vännäs BK's Valter Alfors shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brian Flinck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vännäs BK reached it. Johan Östlund kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Leif Arvidsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Larsson in the 52nd minute of play forced BK Skjutet's goalkeeper Brian Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vännäs BK's Björn Isaksson in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Skjutet's goalie prevented a goal. Stefan Jakobsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Flinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Säfström in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Philip Arenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match BK Skjutet got a corner. Vännäs BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stefan Jakobsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Stefan Jakobsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Svante Josefsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Walter Wiman's late challenge caught a Vännäs BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walter Wiman helped the player get up and apologised. Walter Wiman kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Brian Flinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Isaksson in the 77th minute of the match. If Stefan Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vännäs BK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sven-Arne Pihlblad hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Vännäs BK's goalkeeper Svante Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sonny Johnsson. Sverker Henriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sverker Henriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Vännäs BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Bernt Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Flinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BK Skjutet had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
