Dag Skarkman struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Tommy Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gullholmen. In the 32nd minute, Dennis Blomquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, FC RefAlaGalaTeAtt's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Nyström came free, but Tommy Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Morat made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Lennart Snäll sent off a good shot on target. When Sakarias Kellbom fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC RefAlaGalaTeAtt's protests and gave Sakarias Kellbom a yellow card for diving instead. Tommy Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes FC RefAlaGalaTeAtt got a freekick which was hit by Ian Löfgren. After the first half Gullholmen were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rickard Nyström was the one to do the kick off. If Rickard Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Lennart Snäll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Morat. Gullholmen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Snäll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 64th minute, Rickard Nyström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tommy Sundberg, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, FC RefAlaGalaTeAtt's Ian Löfgren got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Gullholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Snäll came free, but David Morat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC RefAlaGalaTeAtt booed when Gullholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Björkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Morat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Snäll, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the FC RefAlaGalaTeAtt defense, Adam Johnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Sundberg. The FC RefAlaGalaTeAtt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Sundberg should have stopped the shot. Ian Löfgren hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Tommy Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gullholmen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
