The Wydad Wogel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. Wydad Wogel's Evert Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Vollander in the 20th minute of play. If Måns Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Vollander in the 27th minute of play forced Wydad Wogel's goalkeeper Evert Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Snett★inåt★bakåt got a corner. Wydad Wogel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andréas Hedvall ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 29 minutes, Måns Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wydad Wogel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles Lingren hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Örjan Sigfridsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evert Gunnarsson. Örjan Sigfridsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of Snett★inåt★bakåt booed when Wydad Wogel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Lingren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Vollander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Ivan Vollander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evert Gunnarsson. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Vollander was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tord Bergqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kennet Hake charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kennet Hake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kennet Hake hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ulf Lundblad kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Helge Lindell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wydad Wogel's Evert Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Vollander in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Snett★inåt★bakåt had played much better football throughout.
