The Skates's Alex Ödmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Charles in the 9th minute of play. After 20th play minutes Gustav Hybbert shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Patrick Finman and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Biörling in the 23rd minute of play forced Skogsro's goalkeeper Patrick Finman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 25 minutes on the clock, Anton Ahlrot commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 24th minute, one of Skogsro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skogsro. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for The Skates. Hickey Dickey stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Patrick Finman. 0-3. Ray Charles hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hickey Dickey was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Esbjörn Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alex Ödmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magne Sörmans short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Alex Ödmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Esbjörn Lindberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Alex Ödmann made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilhelm Karlstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vilhelm Karlstedt scored 0-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Finman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Skogsro's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Karlstedt came free, but Patrick Finman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Skogsro booed when The Skates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Kalfhage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Ödmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reine Billvall in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Sörman in the 66th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Alex Ödmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Patrick Finman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Finman having to interfere. Patrick Finman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robert Kalfhage showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 75 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Patrick Finman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alex Ödmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esbjörn Lindberg went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Skogsro's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Eklund came free, but Patrick Finman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in The Skates's zone, Magne Sörman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Ödmann came out of the goal and Magne Sörman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Skates's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
