Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 80) Christian Holm made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, BK Gunilla's Maximilian Wennerlund got a free kick in the 4th minute. Jan-Olof Markusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Mickelsson having to interfere. Christian Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Holm in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Mickelsson saved Linköping FC from getting behind. Christian Holm took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Mickelsson. Rune Mickelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jan-Olof Markusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Strandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Holm in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Mickelsson saved Linköping FC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Nils Kruuse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linköping FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Gunilla the free kick. A collision led to Linköping FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nils Kruuse hit a great ball. If Jan-Olof Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Orvar Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Holm charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Holm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes BK Gunilla got a freekick which was hit by Christian Holm. Maximilian Wennerlund got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 47 minutes into the game, Adrian Mattsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linköping FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Gunilla the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Linköping FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Mattsson made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Nils Kruuse notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BK Gunilla's Anders Strandberg. Anders Strandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isak Westerstrand hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. BK Gunilla's Anders Strandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mattsson in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Linköping FC's zone, Jan-Olof Markusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Mickelsson came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Markusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Olof Markusson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Mickelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Christian Holm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Rune Mickelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rune Mickelsson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Christian Holm sent off a good shot on target. Christian Holm struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Rune Mickelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Gunilla. After a defensive mix-up in Linköping FC's zone, Christian Holm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Mickelsson came out of the goal and Christian Holm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th match minute, Linköping FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Arenius to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Linköping FC defense, Christian Holm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Mickelsson. The Linköping FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Mickelsson should have stopped the shot. Otto Skräddare lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Linköping FC. Frank Kihlman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anders Strandberg. 2-2. BK Gunilla were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
