Fågelmara IK's Kjell Ennegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Milko in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper Kjell Ennegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wincent Milko. Wincent Milko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell Ennegren having to make a save. Fågelmara IK's Kjell Ennegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Fågelmara IK from getting a goal against them. Wincent Milko might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell Ennegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wincent Milko ran back to his position shaking his head. Kjell Ennegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Milko in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Jonathan Bergdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Foster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes in the game, Wincent Milko dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Kjell Ennegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Bergdal in the 22nd minute of play. Ben Foster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Bălăiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Ennegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Milko in the 25th minute of the match. Kjell Ennegren was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Wincent Milko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wincent Milko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Ionel Bălăiță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fågelmara IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 34th minute of the game August Bäckström made a throw-in which Nils Jonsson played forward. In the 36th match minute, Watford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Carrasqueira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Käcker in the 40th minute of play forced Watford FC's goalkeeper Ben Foster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Long Yu Chang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ben Foster quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 45 minutes into the match, Watford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Jonsson came free, but Ben Foster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Käcker to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 91st match minute, Watford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Wallmark to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Stig-Arne Ånger made a precise shot to the right of Ben Foster.
