When Dawid Sebzda fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rozbitek SA's protests and gave Dawid Sebzda a yellow card for diving instead. 20 minutes into the match, FC Zodiak's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Giertych came free, but Cyryl Wojno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Teobald Grunwalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mieszko Galagan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jacek Teofila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Skrzypek in the 25th minute of the match. FC Zodiak's Cyryl Wojno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Komornicki in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute Emil Giertych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Wojno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyryl Wojno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Giertych, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. FC Zodiak's Cyryl Wojno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Giertych in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Dawid Sebzda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tytus Mikulski made a kick off. Tytus Mikulski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emil Giertych came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Rozbitek SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Giertych couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mieszko Galagan during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes FC Zodiak got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Galagan. Witalis Lewkowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Zodiak's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Boruc Komornicki scored to the left of an out of position Cyryl Wojno, making the score, 1-2. During the 85th minute of the match Boruc Komornicki completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Boruc Komornicki a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Rozbitek SA getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Boruc Komornicki hit a great ball. Tytus Mikulski struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jacek Teofila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zodiak. In the 97th minute Tytus Mikulski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Teofila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rozbitek SA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rozbitek SA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
