Smereko's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Przemyslaw Frodyma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucjan Gejda's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Jerzy Dunajski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Zecman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Dariusz Walentowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dunajski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Zacharczyk's late challenge caught a Klobucko's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafal Zecman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Smereko's Jerzy Dunajski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Smereko from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Robert Puzio from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Jerzy Dunajski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jerzy Dunajski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Zecman, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Smereko's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Zecman came free, but Jerzy Dunajski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klobucko's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
