Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zbyszko Piesciuk got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Kazimierz Felenak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 9 minutes, Kazimierz Klejnowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serteck SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Klejnowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zula Petrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Piesciuk in the 16th minute of play. Kazimierz Klejnowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zula Petrasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Kazimierz Klejnowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Zbyszko Piesciuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kromers's Zula Petrasz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Serteck SA booed when FC Kromers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leszek Charlos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arkadiusz Zurawski, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Zbyszko Piesciuk might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zula Petrasz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszko Piesciuk ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the FC Kromers defense, Zbyszko Piesciuk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zula Petrasz. The FC Kromers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zula Petrasz should have stopped the shot. Zula Petrasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Piesciuk in the 40th minute of the match. Zula Petrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Klejnowski in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Piesciuk in the 45th minute of play forced FC Kromers's goalkeeper Zula Petrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Janusz Teofila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Felenak in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olaf Ratulowski was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Serteck SA got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Piesciuk. Zbyszko Piesciuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zula Petrasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zula Petrasz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Serteck SA's Kazimierz Klejnowski. But to his dismay, Kazimierz Klejnowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Janusz Teofila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Ratulowski in the 69th minute of play. Kazimierz Felenak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Janusz Teofila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, FC Kromers's goalkeeper Zula Petrasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kazimierz Klejnowski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Olejniczak during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Serteck SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Olejniczak to maneuver through the defense. Zula Petrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Piesciuk in the 81st minute of play. When Zbyszko Piesciuk came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Serteck SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Piesciuk couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Klejnowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zula Petrasz. FC Kromers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kazimierz Klejnowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 95th minute Zbyszko Piesciuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Petrasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zula Petrasz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Kazimierz Klejnowski sent off a good shot on target. The Serteck SA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Serteck SA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
