Mons Søberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andrzej Hyska showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. Runar Huus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Viking Star Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigve Os to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrzej Hyska to strike the kick off in the second half. Mons Søberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sigve Os's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Sigve Os made a precise shot to the right of Mons Søberg. Torp IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Eric Stav helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Viking Star Fighters booed when Torp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Stav didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torp IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
