Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1490, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jon-Egil Nerhus kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Torgeir Paulsrud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Dalheim was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 5th minute Torgeir Paulsrud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Dalheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MCFC's Jon-Egil Nerhus got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MCFC's Erik Dalheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endre Baardsen in the 9th minute of play. Erik Dalheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgeir Paulsrud in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, MCFC's goal looked a bit too open when Torgeir Paulsrud came free, but Erik Dalheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SK Skrenten's Markus Stensrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espen Hestad in the 15th minute of play. Torgeir Paulsrud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Dalheim having to interfere. Arild Markussen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Markus Stensrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of SK Skrenten:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MCFC:s goal. If Arild Markussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Arild Markussen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Stensrud. SK Skrenten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arild Markussen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Erik Dalheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Thu in the 33rd minute of the match. If Eric Langen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Langen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Stensrud having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Raymond Stensrud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Skrenten and the MCFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes SK Skrenten got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Stensrud. Eric Langen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Stensrud having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Endre Baardsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MCFC's Erik Dalheim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save MCFC from getting a goal against them. Rikard Eide might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Dalheim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rikard Eide ran back to his position shaking his head. Eric Langen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Stensrud having to interfere. Jon-Egil Nerhus scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Stensrud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ragnar Thu in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Dalheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jon-Egil Nerhus managed to get in a good position for a shot. MCFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon-Egil Nerhus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Stensrud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Langen took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Stensrud. Markus Stensrud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Markus Stensrud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arild Markussen in the 73rd minute of play. Thorbjørn Singstad kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Arild Markussen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MCFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arild Markussen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Urke kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, SK Skrenten's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Langen came free, but Markus Stensrud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Eric Langen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Stensrud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arild Markussen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon-Egil Nerhus in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Stensrud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 97 minutes, Endre Baardsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Skrenten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Endre Baardsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
